Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Site usage. Google Tag Manager loads analytics that record pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate location, so we can see which guides help readers. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Emails you send us. Your address and message, used to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or steps before a contract.
• Studio accounts. If you had a Motion Studio Pro account, we hold your email, name, plan and billing status, credit balance and the projects and files you uploaded. Legal basis: contract.
• Payments. Polar processes payments as merchant of record. We never see your full card details.

Who we share it with

Our service providers only: Google (analytics and email), Cloudflare (hosting), Polar (payments), Clerk (sign-in for studio accounts) and Neon (database). Some of them process data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Analytics data for at most 14 months. Emails for as long as the conversation needs. Account data until the account is closed, and payment records for seven years as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion or a restriction, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email us and we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
